Aircraft Lease Types

Dry lease

Aircraft only. Usually a longer term lease than other types and based on a fixed monthly payment. All operating costs paid by the lessee.

Wet lease

Price per block hour, paid monthly. All other operating costs paid by lessee.

ACMI

Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, Insurance. Similar to wet lease.

Full Charter

All inclusive price per flight, usually with the exception of passenger and airport taxes.

These descriptions are rough guides, all aircraft leases and air charters are different and costs are influenced by factors such as planned utilisation, location, and routes to be flown.
