Can air taxi charter flights operate into any airfield or airport?
A
In good weather our
air taxi aircraft can fly into most airfields but if the weather is poor (fog, low cloud
etc.) only larger airports with radar and instrument approach facilities can be
used. All charter aircraft types have differing runway requirements and these are also
affected by weather.
Q
What is the cost of an
air taxi charter flight?
A
The cost is worked out per flying hour plus landing and ground handling fees and
waiting time. All flying time is included and will include the time taken to
position to and from the aircraft's base. Hourly rental cost varies depending on
the aircraft type and operating costs.
Q
What luggage can be
carried in an air taxi aircraft?
A
Luggage can be carried but space is limited and because of the size and
shape of the luggage lockers canvas bags and small cases are preferred. Many
piston engined aircraft have special lockers behind the engines, suitable for
golf clubs or skis.
